Drinking water leakage in Kamarajar Road:
A drinking water supply pipe is leaking water in the Kamarajar Road which connects Hopes College junction and Singanallur. Large volume of water is wasted everyday due to the continuous leakage in the pipe. Hence, pedestrians and motorists find it very difficult to use this stretch.
It has been reported that the natives of this region have made appeals to repair the pipe to the concerned officials, however, no cation has been initiated in this regard. The residents, commercial establishment owners and pedestrians have requested the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation (CCMC) officials to do the needful in repairing the pipe.

Uncleared tree debris piled on road sides at Kamarajar Road.
A tree in the Kamarajar Road near the Gandhi Memorial School was uprooted during the last rains in the city. On time, the CCMC officials took steps to clear the tree to ensure smooth movement of vehicles on this road. It has been reported that the branches of this tree were left uncleared and piled up on the road sides. Since, the place looks dirty, the pedestrians have been using the place for urinating causing inconvenience to the residents. The residents have urged that the debris should be cleared.

Devendar Street continues to remain with potholes:
Devendar street which is located on the 63rd ward of the Coimbatore Corporation has a lot of potholes. Residents of this locality and the public who commute on this road complain of this poorly maintained road.

Poor condition of overhead water tank in Devendar Street
An overhead tank of Coimbatore Corporation located in Devendar Street in Singanallur is in a dilapidated condition. It continues to prove to be dangerous for people in this vicinity. Though the water tank is in a very poor condition it is still being used by people to store and supply water. Residents of that area have also requested that the Corporation should take necessary steps to repair the tank at the earliest.
