A couple of months ago, Suganadevi a pregnant women was reported dead due to some ailment. Suganadevi's last rites was performed at Nanjundarapuram crematorium on 26th October, 2016.
Recently, Suguna's parents raised complaint at the Ramanathapuram Police station alleging some suspicion in their daughter's dead. Acting upon this complaint, Suguna's body was retrieved from the burial site in the presence of RTO Madhuranthagi and Medical Officer Jayasingh.
Her body was taken to the Government hospital for post-moterm examination. Suguna was in her third trimester during her death. Relatives of Suguna gathered at the Government hospital which created tense moments for a brief time.
