G Kuppuswamy Naidu Memorial (GKNM) Hospital this morning organised a human chain in order to create awareness about organ donation. About 400 people in all participated in this awareness programme. The management, medical and non-medical staff and students of this institution formed a human chain at the GKNM campus. This programme was organised as a part of the Indian Organ Donation Week.

Participants held placards with messages about donating various vital organs. The participants also sensitised the public to donate the organs of the deceased. Selvaraj, C2 Police Inspector flagged off this human chain. Dr. Ragupathy Veluswamy, Chief Executive Officer, (CEO), GKNM, Dr. T. Balaji R. Gopinathan, Vice President, GKNM, T.B. Ramakrishnan, Medical Superintendent, GKNM also participated in this human chain.
