City wears a deserted look as it mourns the death of 'Amma'.


Following the death of Tamil Nadu Former CM J.Jayalalitha, the entire state of Tamil Nadu is experiencing a total shut down to mourn the death of the Supremo. Security has been stepped up in all parts of the State. 

In the city of Coimbatore, Rapid action force personnel have been deployed at all important junctures to avoid any unforeseen events. Today also marks the demolition of Babar Masjid, hence security has been doubled up at all sensitive ares in the city. 



Streets and bus stations wear a deserted look. Most of the AIADMK party cadres have left to Chennai through last minute buses, trains and lorries to pay their tributes. 



The Party members are mourning their leader's demise by offering floral tributes to their beloved Amma's pictures which are displayed at important junctures and wards. At the AIADMK head office and central bus stand, hundreds of cadres have gathered to offer their respect to her demise. 



Petrol bunks remain closed, while medical shops and all emergency services are still accessible.
