'Blitz conclave' is a the youth conclave where young energetic souls who will shape our tomorrow converge under one roof for 60 hours of boundless learning and experiential journeys along with some fitness mania, says Yi.
The Yi Chapters of Salem, Erode, Tiruppur and Coimbatore will be jointly hosting the 28th Yi Youth Conclave- 'Blitz' which is scheduled to take place between 16th to 18th December. This is the second time the Young Indians (Yi), an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), is hosting this conclave in Coimbatore.
Today being the day one of the three-day event,'SPORT-A-THON - Sports Blitz' was hosted. The session aims at involving the members of Yi to actively participate in physical activities comprising of fun filled and health-oriented activities.
Close to 500 participants were involved in a slew of games and sporting activities. The participants enthusiastically took part in the activities like Zumba, Obstacle run, Uri Adi, Archery, Kabaddi, Fencing etc.,
Tomorrow, the participants will be put through a series of entrepreneurship expedition. On the first half of the day, participants will pay a visit to one of the leading entrepreneurship establishments and during the second half experts from across the nation will present keynotes address on 'entrepreneurship and leadership'. Finally, day three will showcase art, culture and heritage of our city.
