As a part of the Coimbatore Vizha from 27th January to 5th February 2017, various programmes are scheduled to be hosted during the ten-day event. Today the event was officially flagged off by CCMC Special Officer, Vijayakarthikeyan at Brooke Fields Mall.
The second edition of 'Tiger run 2017' will be hosted on 29.01.2017 by ACME Round Table 133 as a part of Coimbatore Vizha. Tiger run will be organised as a charity event to create awareness on the diminishing rate of population of the species and the need to protect tigers in our country.
'Tiger run 2017' will be Coimbatore’s first trail marathon. A fun-filled marathon that will take the participants through some scenic location around the area of Chettipalayam comprising of two categories, the 11km and 6 km run.
The Start and end points for both the categories would be Firebird Institute of Research & Management (Near Coimbatore Golf Club, Chettipalayam).
The event is scheduled to take place at the Coimbatore Golf Club, Chettipalayam from 6.00 am to 9.00 am. Interested participants can enroll for the run at www.tigerrun.in or can call 98846-44446. The last date for registration is 4th January, 2017.
