Cow dung thrown at a poster calling Sasikala to become Chief Minister

The senior functionaries of AIADMK and the ministers in the AIADMK government are requesting Sasikala aide of former chief minister J. Jayalalitha to become Chief Minister. However, this has created an unrest among the basic level party members, common people and social activists alike. In this scenario, a poster has been pasted on behalf of the Minister for local bodies, special schemes implemented in Uppilipalayam area, calling for Sasikala to become the chief minister of Tamilnadu.

The poster had an image of Sasikala on it. Pushpha who has been an AIADMK party member for many years now threw cow dung on the poster. Police who were in the area removed the poster. Pushpa has said that she threw cow dung at the poster as Sasikala who killed Jayalalitha should not become the party's general secretary.

“Jayalalitha'a heir Deepa should become the general secretary of the party and I will welcome her. Sasikala should not be made the AIADMK party's general secretary” she said.
