Coimbatoreans relentless in support of Jallikattu!

It's pouring protests all over the state of Tamil Nadu for Jallikattu. Here in the city of Coimbatore, a few thousand people including students, public and children have gathered at the VOC grounds protesting against the arrest of supporters at Alanganallur, condemning PETA and revoke the ban on Jallikattu.

As the lights in the grounds were not turned on, on-time, the spirited protestors lit the whole place up using their mobile torch lights. The entire crowd of people who have gathered are displaying strong determination and are relentless in support of Jallikattu.

Is the crowd going to continue their protests the whole night or will they scatter shortly and continue their protest by morning is unknown.

While, another set of People held a protest for similar reasons at Ondipudhur in Coimbatore. Members of political parties, students, youth, children and the public participated in large numbers. A few bulls were also seen amidst the protestors. The agitated protestors raised slogans demanding the central government to pass an immediate interim ordinance to conduct Jallikattu.
