Coimbatore: A webinar was organized by the Electronics Department of the Karpagam Institute of Technology on Monday, observing the World Leprosy Day.
The Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of Karpagam Institute of Technology hosted a webinar on “World Leprosy Eradication Day 2022” on Monday.
The webinar gave insights about leprosy, host factors, and environment factors, modes of transmission, diagnosis, leprosy management and control, medical measures, social supports available for leprosy patients, leprosy eradication programs to date.
On behalf of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in association with Youth Red Cross, Red Ribbon Club and Unnat Bharat Abhiyan organized a Webinar on “World Leprosy Eradication Day 2022” at 2.00 pm. Students and faculty of social activities club participated in the webinar.
This session was handled by the Resource person, Dr. S. Pradeep, Deepthi Clinic - Women & Child care Asthma Allergy center, Coimbatore. The webinar ended with a question and answer session followed by feedback from students and then certificates were distributed to participants.
