12 Students from Sri Krishna Institutions bag placement in Amazon with annual packages of Rs.44 lakhs

It is also worth noting that this is the first time Amazon has offered such a large number of Software Development Engineer (SDE) roles at SKCET.


Coimbatore: Eight students from Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology and four students from Sri Krishna College of Technology have been offered Software Development Engineer (SDE) roles in the prestigious Amazon India company, totalling 12 offers with Rs. 44 lakhs per annum.

The 12 students who are currently pursuing their pre-final year have been appointed as interns with a stipend of Rs. 80,000 per month which will be converted to a full-time job offer with a package of Rs. 44 lakhs per annum on successfully completing their internship. The 12 chosen students will work on real time Amazon projects, while being closely mentored by experienced employees during their tenure as interns.

Jeba Regan Raj R, Menaga M, Madhivadhanan B R, Manish P and Srinivas R from department of Computer Science and Engineering, and Jalagandeswer R, Muhil T, Naveen G, Pon Dhinesh Kumar R, Thaslima Shirin R, Vikkash S and Karthikeyan S from the department of Information and Technology are the 12 chosen SDE role candidates who are pursuing their third year in Sri Krishna Institutions.

The Institution expressed its delight in witnessing a good number of SKCETians making their way into the Tech Giant- Amazon. It is also worth noting that this is the first time Amazon has offered such a large number (12) of Software Development Engineer (SDE) role offers at SKCET.

S Malarvizhi, Chairperson and Managing Trustee, Sri Krishna Institutions congratulated the 12 students for their relentless effort in edifying their skills and intentionally starting their professional odyssey. The Principal, Dr. J Janet, also appreciated the students for their stellar placement offers and congratulated the Placement team and Heads of the Departments for their ceaseless motivation and effort toward students.
