Chennai: Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy in the assembly has announced that all ration card holders will be given Rs. 1000.

Chennai: Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy in the assembly has announced that all ration card holders will be given Rs. 1000.

In the notification issued by the Chief Minister under GO 110 of the Assembly, he said: -

- Rs 3250 crore allocated for relief of the victims whose livelihoods affected by Corona

- Those who worked on the 100-day program will be paid an additional 2 days.

- Ration items for April will be presented in token mode

- The corporation will provide an additional Rs.1000 for roadside traders.

- For those who cannot afford to move, they will be served hot food.

- A special allowance of Rs. 1000 for building workers and auto drivers will be given

- Other state non-organisation workers in Tamil Nadu will be provided with 15 kg of rice, pulses and oil.

- Construction workers and auto drivers will be given 17 kg of rice, pulses and oil.
