Numerous vehicles seized due to various reasons during the past months are to be auctioned on September 6, since the owners have not turned up to recover their vehicles.

Coimbatore District Collector, G S Sameeran shared details regarding the auction with the media. "These vehicles were seized due to reasons like non-payment of insurance and taxes. Those who would want to take part in the auctions will have to pay an amount of Rs. 10,000 in advance and draft a cheque in the name of The Transport Officer Coimbatore (west) and hand it over to the Regional Transport Office before September 6, between 10 am and 12 pm.

Around 20 vehicles including two-wheelers and four-wheelers, autos, trucks and cabs are to go on auction sale. These vehicles are parked on the premises of the Western Regional Transport Office in Coimbatore and can be viewed for checking from 11 am to 5 pm on office working days," stated the District Collector.
