Coimbatore Dist. Collector G S Sameeran transferred

G S Sameeran, who was serving as the Coimbatore District Collector has been transferred. Kranthi Kumar Pati will be the new Collector for Coimbatore district.


Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Government has ordered the transfer of several IAS officers. Accordingly, some District Collectors have been transferred as Corporation Commissioners and Corporation Commissioners have been transferred as District Collectors.

G S Sameeran who was serving as the District Collector of Coimbatore has been transferred and posted as the Commissioner of Chennai Corporation.

Tirupur Corporation Commissioner Kranthi Kumar Pati has been transferred and posted as the Coimbatore District Collector. It is said that he will soon be sworn in as the Coimbatore District Collector, in a day or two.
