Coimbatore Corporation to hold special tax collection camp on March 25 and 26 - Corporation Commissioner

The wards 5, 6, 7, 8, 55, 56, 57, 17, 75, 38, 39, 74, 85, 88, 89, 97, 11, 15, 18, 19, 25, 28, 32, 63, 80, 84, 97, 11, 15, 18, 19, 25, 28, 32, 63, 80, 84, will be having tax collection camps held on March 25 and 26.


Coimbatore: Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Prathap has announced that special tax collection camps will be held in various wards of the corporation on March 25 and 26.

In a statement issued in this regard, he said, “With just a few days left for the completion of the current financial year 2022-23 in coimbatore corporation, arrangements have been made to pay the dues of property tax, vacancy tax and profession taxes to be paid to the Coimbatore Corporation.

The final special tax collection camps of this financial year will be conducted on March 25 and 26 in the following ward areas of the Corporation for the convenience of the public to pay the arrears of taxes.

Valiyampalayam area in ward no.5, Veeriyampalayam area in ward no.6, Kalapatti Nehru Nagar school in ward no.7 and 8. It will be held in SIHS Colony Corporation School in ward number 55, Surya Nagar- Railway Gate area in ward number 56 and Ondipudur Weavers Colony in ward number 57.

It will be held in ward no. 17, Goundampalayam - Cheran Nagar - near water tank, Seeranaickenpalayam - Nethaji Street area in ward no. 75 and Vadavalli Bommanampalayam Mariamman temple complex in ward no. 38 on March 26.

It will also be held on March 25 at Sundapalayam Perumal Temple premises in ward number 39 and on March 26, 2023 at Poojaripalayam - Community Hall in Ward No. 74, 2023.

It will be held in ward number 85 of south zone at kurichi health inspector's office, in ward no 88 in kuniyamuthur- rice mill road - corporation high school, in ward no 89 at sundakkamuthur health inspector's office and in ward no 97 at pillaiyarpuram.

In ward no.11 of north zone, mgr nagar- janatha nagar area, ward no.15 subramanyampalayam near ward office, ward no.18 in nallampalayam corporation primary school. It will be held at Maniyakarampalayam-Amma Canteen in ward number 19, Gandhi Nagar-Government Higher Secondary School in ward no.25 and Kamadhenu Nagar-ward office in ward no.28.

In ward no.32 of central zone, children's park, sanganoor narayanasamy street, ward no 62 in saramedu corporation primary school, ward no 63 in olympus - 80 feet road in corporation shopping complex. It will be held at Kempatti Colony - Corporation Primary School in Ward No. 80 and At Takht Islam School in GM Nagar in Ward No. 84.

All the tax collection centres of the corporation, which will be held in these wards on 25th and 26th of this month, will function as usual from 9 am to 4 pm. Therefore, the public should pay the taxes due to the Corporation in these special tax collection camps and cooperate with the development work of the Corporation.”
