'Traffic diverted on Coimbatore-Avinashi Road:' Coimbatore City Traffic Police

Even as the flyover work is underway on the Coimbatore-Avinashi Road, the Coimbatore City Traffic Police stated that traffic has been diverted since Thursday.


Coimbatore: Traffic on Coimbatore-Avinashi Road has been diverted due to flyover work according to a statement issued on behalf of the Coimbatore City Traffic Police.

Motorists travelling to Avinashi from the Bharathi Colony area will have to turn to the left off Avinashi Road. A U-turn can be made between pillar number 183-184 to proceed.

Motorists travelling to Bharathi Colony via the road opposite Nagercoil Arya Bhavan Hotel can make a U-Turn between pillar number 197-198 opposite Suguna Marriage Hall, and proceed on their journey.

The Coimbatore City Traffic Police has thus requested the public to plan their journey and cooperate in accordance with the traffic diversion.
