Large-scale COVID 19 Vaccination Camps to be held in Coimbatore in around 950 booths around the city on the 12th of this month
Coimbatore: A total of 950 booths have been selected for the Large-scale COVID 19 Vaccination Camps to be held in the Coimbatore Corporation on Sunday (12.06.2022). At the count of 9 booths per ward, 900 booths and 32 outpatient primary health centers with a total of 50 mobile booths have been set up as part of this.
In the Coimbatore district, to date, more than 100 percent of those who have been vaccinated for the first time are over 18 years of age. The second dose of vaccination today is available to 8% of people. The list of those who need to be vaccinated for the second time is on the Cowin website and can be downloaded. The information about the second dose of vaccination has been informed to each individual through mobile phones.
In addition, children between the ages of 12 - 14, and 15 - 18 who need to be vaccinated for the first and second time can go to the "Large-scale corona vaccination camps" on 12.06.2022 and get vaccinated.
In addition, all veterans, including health workers, and those over the age of 60 who have not been vaccinated against the said virus infection can approach the camps and get vaccinated.
In addition, those who failed to get vaccinated can be vaccinated at the Urban Primary Health Centers in the area where they live. The Mayor, Kalpana Ananthakumar, and the Commissioner of the Corporation, M. Prathap, have requested the Government to make Coimbatore a model city for the Govt.
