S.N.R. Sons College hosted its 26th Graduation day today, 27th January 2017 at S.N.R Sons auditorium.
V. Rajagopalan, Managing Director Koni Ameri Tech Services India Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, was the chief guest. R. Vijayakumar, Managing Trustee of SNR Sons Charitable Trust, Dr. A Ebenezer Jeyakumar, Director Academics of SNR Educational Institutions, Dr. K. Karunakaran, Principal and Secretary of the College, Dr. V. Vijayakumar, Controller of Examinations, took part in the programme.
V. Rajagopalan, the chief guest spoke on the history behind graduation ceremony. He congratulated all the graduates present at the ceremony who were filled with joy and excitement to receive their graduation certificates. 'The academic arena is the only platform where all the three stakeholders the Parents, Gurus or teachers and students, attain fulfillment', he said. He also quoted examples from Thirukkural to explain the special bond between parents and children, also between the students and teachers.
421 Under Graduates and 132 Post Graduates were awarded with degrees at this graduation day ceremony.
