Family members of a person who went missing in Canada filed a petition with the district collector to take action to find the whereabouts of the person.
Rothas Singh Thala is living in Sulur, Coimbatore district for the past fifteen years. His son Karthick Choudary (25) is working in Anglo Eastern shipping company for the last 7 years. It is reported that Karthick Choudary who went to Canada on an official duty is missing since. The family members claim that it was in December that they last spoke to Karthick and after which they are unable to establish contact with him thereafter.
Today, his father Rothas Singh and his sister petitioned to the District Collector in which they have sought action to find the whereabouts of Karthick Choudary through the external affairs department.
When speaking to the press Meenakshi, Karthick's sister stated that, “A complaint has been registered through email at the External affairs ministry as the company for which my brother was working has not provided any information. The employees of the company for which he was working are suddenly demanding a death certificate. And, there are no chances that my brother could have died. Efforts should be made by the External affairs ministry to locate my brother on priority who went missing in Canada.”
