Sarvodhaya day was celebrated at Avinasilingam home science university today. Chancellor of the university Dr. P.R. Krishna Kumar presided over the celebrations. Dr. Premavathy Vijayan Vice chancellor of the university delivered the Sarvodhaya Day untouchability oath.
Special address was given by retired professor of PSG arts and science college Jayanathasri Balakrishnan. Annapoorani, professor of Economics department, HoD of Department of French, G. Jeevarathinam, professors from other departments, university students and school students participated in this programme.
