Applications invited from ex-service men for TN uniformed jobs.


The Tamil Nadu uniformed service recruitment board has invited applications from eligible candidates to fill 15,664 vacancies of second-grade police constables in Tamil Nadu special police force, armed battalion, jail department and fire and rescue services.  

The minimum qualification for the job is a pass in the tenth standard. Last date for applying is 22nd February, 2017. A 5 percent reservation has been given to ex-service men.

'The ex-servicemen who meet the required qualifications and their eligible family members shall apply on before the last date. Detailed information on the vacancies can be obtained from the website www.tnusrb.tn.gov.in. The ex-service men shall contact the Deputy Director of ex-servicemen welfare office in person and submit the applications', said District Collector, TN Hariharan.
