Coimbatore District Collector conducts surprise inspections at various Govt. offices

Collector G S Sameeran conducted surprise inspections at various places in Kavundampalayam, including the office of the North Revenue Divisional Officer, the Backward Classes Girls' Hostel, the Health Inspector's Office, the Pollution Control Board and others.


Coimbatore: The Coimbatore District Collector, G S Sameeran inspected the sections of the North Revenue Divisional office, computer room, records room and other areas in Kavundampalayam. He also inspected the Government Backward Classes Girls Hostel at Kavundampalayam and the Government ITI Backward Classes Boys Hostel in the same area.



During the inspection, the Collector enquired from the officers working in the concerned divisions about the pending applications of the public and the registers being maintained during the inspection.



Following this, G S Sameeran also inspected the Government Backward Classes Girls Hostel at Kavundampalayam and the Government ITI Backward Classes Boys Hostel in the same area.



During the inspection, the Collector reviewed various facilities, including the food provided to the students in the hostels and the health status in those hostels.



He also inspected the office of the Health Inspector under the North Zone of Coimbatore Corporation, and enquired from the officials regarding the collection of taxes.



He also inspected the Coimbatore North Zonal Office of the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board and enquired about the permissions granted there and the pending files. Northern Divisional Officer Puma, Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board North Zone Divisional Engineer Ravichandran and other Government officials were also present during the inspection.
