This joint initiative to transform the Government school into a model school in the district is titled as 'My Dream School' and was launched by Dr. G S Sameeran, Coimbatore District Collector, Saiju, V S Section Head, BGSW, R Palanisamy, President Keeranatham Panchayat, R Boopathy, Chief Education Officer Coimbatore and other officials from the Education Department of Coimbatore District on November 14, in lieu of Children's Day.
Coimbatore, India: The Resident Awareness Association of Coimbatore (RAAC) joined hands with Bosch Global Software Technologies (BGSW) to adopt the Panchayat Union Middle School at Keeranatham in Coimbatore for transforming it to a model school in the district.
The program aims to provide structured interventions that leads to holistic development of students, enriching teachers and school leadership for a continual learning and career progression and also focuses on development of the community leading to sustainable development.
This program as part of BGSW’s CSR Initiative will be implemented by Residence Awareness Association of Coimbatore (RAAC) over a period of three years. Year 1 will focus on Critical Infrastructure needs that leads to hygienic and safe environment at the school, age appropriate proficiency for students and developmental program for teachers.
