Banned Kerala lottery tickets sold in Coimbatore - One person arrested

Police have arrested a man for selling banned Kerala lottery tickets in Subramaniampalayam area and are interrogating him.


Coimbatore: Sub-Inspector Guruchandra Vadivel, who was on patrol duty in Subramaniampalayam area, caught hold of a man who was standing there on suspicion and interrogated him.

It was then revealed that he was a native of the same locality and had purchased kerala lottery tickets banned by the Tamil Nadu government from Palakkad and sold them stealthily.

Following this, he was brought to the police station and a case was registered and sent to jail and the police seized Kerala lottery tickets, a bill book and Rs 200 in cash.

Following this, the man has been put in jail and the police are investigating.
