Edappadi K Palaniswami kick starts hunger agitation in Coimbatore, condeming DMK regime

Opposition leader and AIADMK interim general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami launched a hunger agitation, which was led by former minister SP Velumani at Sivananda Colony area in which more than 2,000 party cadres and leaders participated.


Coimbatore:Opposition leader and AIADMK interim general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami kickstarted the hunger strike which was led by former minister SP Velumani at Sivananda Colony today.



The AIADMK is staging the hunger agitation condeming the price spiral, bad roads, increase in milk price, property tax hike, electricity tariff hike and other such public inconveniences.



AIADMK through its fast also urged the government to relay the rain-battered roads in the city and speed up the project implementation of flyovers in the district.



More than 2000 party cadres, including aiadmk legislators, functionaries, took part in the hunger agitation.
