Private college employee dies in a two-wheeler accident near Ettimadai

Subramanian, a cook at a private college, who was undergoing treatment for head injuries after being hit by a two-wheeler after his bicycle collided with a bike near Ettimadai succumbed to his injuries today.




Coimbatore: Subramanian (56), is a native of Chidambaram in Cuddalore district and he was working as a cook at a private college in Ettimadai.

On Friday last, Ajith kumar, who works as a driver in the same college, went on a two-wheeler with Subramanyian riding in the pillion.

When they were approaching near Pongegoundanpudur in Ettimadai, the two-wheeler had lost control and rammed into the bicycle, which a youth named Saidharan, rode. Subramanian, who was sitting in the pillion of the two-wheeler, fell down and sustained severe head injuries and fainted. Following this, he was admitted to Coimbatore government hospital.

Subramanian, who was admitted to the intensive care unit there, succumbed to his injuries today. His body was later handed over to his relatives after an autopsy was performed.
