V Kathirvel, who is DMK's City North zone president has started the poster campaign and put up posters across the city condemning the act of the TN Governor.

The poster has styled itself on "Perarignar" Anna's statement that "as much as a goat does not need a beard, the state does not need a governor"

"The annual expenditure of the Governor is Rs 6.5 crore and it has been revealed that 21 bills are pending between 2020 and May 30,20222, waiting for Raj Bhavan's assent" the poster said.

As many as 21 bills, including a bill to reduce the tenure of office-bearers of co-operative societies from five years to three years, a bill to put on hold the election of an Anglo-Indian member to the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, an amendment to the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act, and the Online Rummy Abolition Bill, have been mentioned in the poster.

"All these are the long-drawn-out bills. on the Governor's shelf!" the poster further said.
The poster also warned that "the people can not afford to sleep anylonger, lest they might suffer a lot" if such things happen in Tamil Nadu.
