Two youngsters arrested in Palladam for posting objectionable content in Insta reels

Police have arrested two youth who posted a video on Instagram showing a two-wheeler blocking traffic near Palladam stating that the vehicle had a bomb.



Tirupur: Two youth shot a video of a bike parked in the middle of the road near Krishna Bakery on the road leading to Murugampalayam from Lakshmi Nagar area, near Palladam Karaipudur in Tirupur district.



Later, the video was uploaded on Instagram stating that a bomb was placed in the two-wheeler, and the video had the song 'Naanga Vantha Majaa Majaa' along with the video. The video quickly went viral on social media.



The Palladam police received information about the release of the video that brought vehicular traffic to a standstill on the road, leaving the public in fear.



After further investigation, the police revealed that the video was recorded by Tamilselvan of Murugan Mill area and Kalisamy of Ganapathipalayam. The police registered a case against the two, arrested them and sent them to jail.

Tamilselvan and Kalisamy, who were arrested, already have several cases against them, including attempt to murder and peddling of drugs.
