Husband files complaint as wife goes missing after training at Isha Yoga Center

Alandurai police are investigating the complaint filed by husband Palanikumar after Subashree, his wife, had allegedly gone missing after attending a training programme at the Isha Yoga Centre December 11.


Coimbatore: Alandurai police are investigating the complaint filed by husband Palanikumar after Subashree, his wife had allegedly gone missing after attending a training programme at the Isha Yoga Centre December 11.

According to Police,Palanikumar hails from Avinashi in Tiruppur district and he works at a hosiery unit as a quality supervisor..

He is survived by his wife Subashree (34), who also works in a private hosiery unit. They have an 11-year-old daughter.

About four years ago, Subhasree had undergone a yoga training 'Silence' at the Isha Yoga Center. She again went to the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore on 11th of December for another training session.

Meanwhile, when her husband came to pick her up as the training ended yesterday, Subhashree reportedly did not come out for a long time.

Meanwhile, her husband Palanikumar went inside and found that Subhasree was not at the Isha Yoga Center. On examining the CCTV footage installed there, it was found out that Subhasree had gone out in the morning itself.

It was also revealed that she had gone to Semmedu area and used a call taxi. However, as her whereabouts could not be ascertained her husband Palanikumar lodged a complaint with the Alandurai police

Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case and are on the lookout for Subhashree, who has gone missing.
