While Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated the event of providing loan assistance to women Self Help Groups in Tirchy, Collector Sameeran distributed loans worth Rs 58 crore to 893 SHGs in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: At a function, which was held in Trichy today Chief Minister M.K Stalin distributed loan assistance to women self-help groups.
The CM also awarded “Manimegalai†Awards and awards to bankers at the Tiruchy function, Foundation stones for various new projects were laid, and the completed works were also inaugurated.
As part of this, loan assistance was provided to 893 SHGs in Coimbatore district. The event was held at the Corporation school at R.S. Puram.
Loans under various categories including bank loans for SHGs, bank loans for Panchayat Level bodies, self-employment schemes, and loans for setting up community schools, were distributed at a total outlay of Rs.58.004 crore.
2704 beneficiaries benefited under the loan disbursal function.
