May have been dead for more than 10 days - autopsy report of woman missing after yoga training in Isha

Her body was handed over to relatives after an autopsy. Her body was cremated at an Isha electric crematorium in Nanjundapuram area of Coimbatore.



Coimbatore: The body of Subashree, a woman who went missing after undergoing training at the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore, was found dead in a dilapidated well in Semmedu area today. Later, her body was brought to Coimbatore Government hospital for autopsy.

The autopsy was conducted in the presence of a specialist doctor at the Coimbatore Government Hospital. According to the autopsy report, Subashree may have been dead for more than 10 days and there was water present in her lungs. There were no injuries found on her body.

Subashree, who underwent Yoga training in the Silence program of Isha foundation was seen running away from the centre without slippers, having left her phone and belongings behind at Isha after the training got over. She had also called her husband from another person's phone while fleeing  from the center.  

A case was filed for missing person two weeks ago at Alandurai Police Station which has now been changed to suspicious death after her dead body was recovered from a well in a village (Semmedu) near Isha Foundation in Velliangiri hills
