Four arrested in Coimbatore car blast case brought to Jamesha Mubin’s residence in Kottaimedu

Sanafar Ali, Mohammad Riyaz, Nawaz and Taufiq - were brought to Jamesha Mubin's residence in Kottaimedu area around midnight.



Coimbatore: In October, a car blast attack took place in front of the Kottai Easwaran temple in Ukkadam Kottai Medu area of Coimbatore. Jamesha Mubin killed himself in the suicide attack.

The case is being investigated by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and 11 people have been arrested so far in the case. Five of them have been questioned recently by the National Investigation Agency (NIA).



In this case, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) officials, who were interrogating six persons - Mohammed Talka, Mohammed Riyaz, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Taufiq, Sanafar Ali and Sheikh Idayatullah - were taken into custody and brought to Coimbatore this morning and interrogated in the premises of the Police Training School.



Only four of them - Sanafar Ali, Mohammad Riyaz, Nawaz and Taufiq - were brought to Jamesha Mubin's residence in Kottaimedu area around 11.30 pm by SP of the National Investigation Agency. The four were also questioned by Sreejith.

The NIA officials also questioned the four suspects in the house of Jamesha Mubin.

NIA officials then took them to other places including bakery and interrogated them and recorded it on video.
