The Isha Yoga Center, at Velliangiri has appealed to Tamil Nadu government to initiate appropriate action against those who spread rumours about the yoga centre in the wake of Subasree’s death.
Coimbatore: Reacting to the onslaught of media and social media reactions to the death of Subasree, a Tirupur based woman, the Isha Yoga Centre has issued a statement saying that the onslaught of media blitz is wantonly created.
The statement said "The untimely death of Subasree, a native of Tirupur, who had visited the Isha Yoga Centre for training, is unfortunate and the tragic incident has caused shock and anguishâ€.

While noting that the Yoga Centre had been silent all these days as it did not want to hamper the police investigation into the death of the woman, the statement said the Center has duly provided all the necessary details to the police for the investigation of the case.

Isha has also alleged that some YouTubers in the guise of media persons, and some writers capable of writing mystery novels in the name of intelligence have slandered the organisation, and noted that these people are trying to politicise the issue for their own selfish ends.
While demanding that the Government of Tamil Nadu should take appropriate action against the persons, organisations and media persons, who are spreading confusion among the people through malicious slanders, the statement said "No one can disturb our vision and determination to create a world of awareness".
