Selvamani (56), who was trying to cross the road, was hit by a two-wheeler in Vattamalaipalayam Pirivu near Thudiyalur and the driver was booked by the police.

Selvamani was hit by a two-wheeler and met with an accident. Selvamani, who was seriously injured in the accident, was rescued by the neighbours and sent to coimbatore government hospital in a 108 ambulance for treatment.
The police have registered a case against Gautham, who was driving a two-wheeler, in connection with the accident and are investigating.
