Petition submitted to Coimbatore district SP for security to hold prayer meeting in his prayer house

Petitioning the SP to take action against the persons obstructing the conduct of the prayer meeting and to provide protection to them.

Coimbatore: A petition has been lodged with the District Superintendent of Police alleging that some people are obstructing the conduct of a prayer meeting.

Jack Nesakumar is a resident of Press Colony in Coimbatore. He has submitted a petition to the district superintendent of police.

According to the petition, "I have been conducting a prayer meeting in the name of Elbethel Prayer House on Sakthi Nagar Second Street in Press Colony, Coimbatore. In 2018, gopal, Rajesh and Lawrence from the same locality had disrupted the prayer meeting.

Despite repeated representations to the Periyanaickenpalayam police station and the concerned authorities seeking action against them, no action was taken.

Following this, I filed a petition in the court and received an order to hold a prayer meeting in the prayer house and I am conducting the prayer meeting in a peaceful manner. In this situation, they again disrupted and threatened those coming to the prayer meeting. And while repairing the prayer house, some people came with them and stopped the work.

Having been holding a prayer meeting with the permission of the court, it is distressing for him that they are not conducting the prayer meeting now. Therefore, on the basis of a court order, the petition has sought a document to provide permission and protection to run the prayer house.
