'N' type ration card holders renew your cards online for current year.

District Collector T.N. Hariharan stated that the 'N' Type ration card (white colour) holders should renew their ration cards for the year 2017, through online. Facilities have been made in the website www.tnpds.com to renew the 'N' type ration cards online.

The 'N' type ration card holders should also register themselves through the POS device at their respective ration shops.

After registering at the POS device, the individuals should click link tab ‘N card renewal’ which is the last tab on the right side, in the list of services offered.

When one clicks the link, a pop up window will ask the card holder to enter their respective ration card registration number.

When the number is entered, a print out can be taken, with information of the renewal details. The renewal slip should be stuck to the ration card by the ration card holders. The respective ration card stands renewed from 01.01.2017 to 31.12.2017.

Those ration card with the renewal slips will only be considered active. Hence all 'N' type ration card holders are asked to renew their cards, online at the earliest.
