New Delhi: Senior BJP leader C P Radhakrishnan, who has been appointed as the Governor of Jharkhand, has said that he will act as a bridge between the state government and the Centre.
Tiruppur: Jharkhand Governor-designate C P Radhakrishnan has said that it is a matter of pride for Tamil Nadu that he has been appointed as the Governor of Jharkand State.
Former BJP state president and former MP C P Radhakrishnan from Tiruppur has been appointed as the Governor of Jharkhand.
Following this, various political parties, friends and volunteers from Tiruppur met him at his residence and greeted him.
Radhakrishnan, who took blessings from his mother and shared sweets, told reporters that the President and the Prime Minister have once again given a Governor to Tamil Nadu.
This is an example of how much love and affection they have for the Tamil people, traditions, culture and the Tamil people. I have been given the opportunity to work in Jharkhand, a state where there are a large number of tribals, scheduled castes, poor and downtrodden people.
I will work with whatever way I can do for the upliftment and progress of such people. I don't see this as a matter of pride for me. I see it as a matter of pride for the Tamil nation.
On behalf of the Tamil people, I express my heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the President of India. I see this as the next evolution of politics. I will act as a bridge between the state government and the central government."
