Video of child sitting on Nilgiris Dist. Collector's lap goes viral

A video of a child named Arshad who climbed into the vehicle of the Nilgiris District Collector, S P Amrith, and refusing to get off his lap has gone viral on social media.


The Nilgiris: After attending a Government event in Ooty, Nilgiris District Collector, S P Amrith boarded his vehicle and interacted with Government officials who organised the event.

Even as the driver started the vehicle, a child named Arshad was trying to get into the vehicle.



The Collector immediately carried the child onto his lap.



After a few minutes, the child refused to get down from the vehicle and remained seated on the Collector's lap.

Only after the Collector told the child that he was getting down from the vehicle into another vehicle, the child relented and got off the Collector's vehicle. The entire incident was captured on video and the footage is now going viral on social media.
