Actor Sivakumar to participate in Siruvani Literary Festival in Coimbatore

This year's Siruvani Literary Festival will be held in Coimbatore district on The 25th and 26th of this month. Actor Sivakumar will attend the opening ceremony and deliver a special address.


Coimbatore: According to a statement issued by the Tamil Nadu Minister for Finance and Human Resource Management, four literary festivals will be held annually.

Accordingly, this year's Siruvani Literary Festival will be held in Coimbatore district on two dates tomorrow (25.02.2023) and the day after tomorrow (26.02.2023).

According to a statement issued by the district administration, the literary festival will be held at PSG Arts and Science College.

The function will be attended by ministers, members of Parliament and MLAs and members of the Municipal Corporation.

It has been mentioned that film artiste Sivakumar will be attending the opening ceremony on The 25th and will deliver the keynote address.

40 speakers in the two forums will deliver literary conversations on 30 topics. These include literary histories, stories, poems, Tamil culture and performing arts.

In addition, the two-day literary festival will have 2000 participants to participate in the festival, with separate halls and all kinds of arrangements have been made to enjoy the festival. This is stated in the report.

Coimbatore District Collector Kranthikumar Padi has invited students, Tamil literary enthusiasts, researchers, literary organisations and the general public to participate in the siruvani literary festival.
