Valparai Municipal Chairman, Azhagu Sundara Valli Selvam presented gold rings to babies born at the Government Hospital in Valparai on Wednesday, on the occasion of the 70th birthday of Chief Minister M K Stalin. Food items and sweets were distributed to the patients and plantation workers.
Coimbatore: On the occasion of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, M K Stalin's 70th birthday on March 1, a gold ring was gifted to each infant born at the Valparai Government Hospital.

CM M K Stalin celebrated his 70th birthday at the Valparai Estate in Coimbatore district. Earlier on Wednesday, Valparai Municipal Chairman, Azhagu Sundara Valli Selvam distributed gold rings to the babies born at the Valparai Government Hospital. Food items and sweets were also distributed to the patients at the hospital. Following this, the school children were presented with pens, notes and books as gifts.

Later, 70 saplings were planted at the Municipal Botanical Garden located on the Valparai-Pollachi Road. Sweets were also distributed to plantation workers in various estate areas.
Former Councillor Selvam, Municipal Councillor Anbarasan, Rajeshwari Balusamy and others were present on the occasion.
