Class 12 TN Board exams begin today, 35,827 boy and girl students appear for the exams in the district

A total of 35,827 students including 16,661 boys and 19,166 girls from 360 schools are appearing for the 12th public examination.


Coimbatore: As many as 35,827 boy and girl students are appearing for the class 12 Public examination which started from today. in the district.

The exams are being conducted in 128 centres across the Coimbatore district. The language paper is scheduled for today as per the timetable.

The 12th public exams which started today will come to an end on 3rd April). A total of 128 examination centres including 6 examination centres for individual candidates have been set up in the district

Also, 12 question papers and two answer sheets strong rooms and centres with round-the-clock security have been set up in 32 places.



A total of 35,827 students including 16,661 boys and 19,166 girls from 360 schools appear for the 12th public examination.

Basic amenities including drinking water for the students have been provided.

For the convenience of the students to locate the seats in the examination centre, notices containing the room number, hall ticket number, examination date etc. have been put up.

As many as 180 officials are manning the flying squads, which have been set up for surveillance to prevent cheating and copying by the students in the examination halls.

Earlier the state government made arrangements for uninterrupted bus and electricity service to the schools where the examination centres are located.
