About 26,160 students appear for the Class 12 board exams at 93 examination centers in Tirupur district

As many as 1,608 teaching staff have been appointed as invigilators to work at the examination centers.


Tirupur: A total of 26,160 boy and girl students are appearing for the Class 12 board exams at 93 examination centers in Tirupur district today.



Tirupur District Collector Vineeth inspected an examination centre at Jaya Bai School in Tirupur Corporation limits.



In Tirupur district, a total of 26,160 candidates including 25,664 regular students studying in 213 higher secondary schools and 496 private candidates are appearing for the exam at 93 examination centers.

As many as 1,608 teaching staff have been appointed as invigilators to work at the examination centers.



Flying squads have been formed to prevent malpractices during the exams and they are visiting all examination centers.
