Corporation Public Grievances Day meeting held in Coimbatore

Coimbatore Corporation Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar presided over the public grievances day meeting. Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar, who received petitions from 52 people and directed the officials to take appropriate action on the petitions.


Coimbatore: Coimbatore Mayor Kalpana has ordered immediate action on 52 petitions submitted at the public grievances day meeting held in the corporation today.



Coimbatore Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar presided over the public grievances day meeting held at the main office of Coimbatore Corporation today (14.03.2023). The meeting was presided over by Corporation Municipal Commissioner Prathap and Corporation Municipal Deputy Commissioner Sharmila.



At the meeting, 52 representations were submitted to the mayor by the public from all parts of the corporation. The petitions containing various demands pertaining to basic amenities including birth and death certificates, road facility, electric lights, drinking water facilities, underground sewerage, industrial tax, property tax, vacancy tax, new water connection, name change, medical, health and education were received.



Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar, who received the petitions, she directed the concerned zonal assistant commissioners, engineers and officials to take immediate action on the petitions.

Mandal Assistant Commissioners Muthuramalingam, Annadurai, Mahesh Kanagaraj, Mohanasundari, Sekar, Assistant Commissioner (Revenue) SenthilKumar Rathinam, Assistant Commissioner (Accounts) Sundarraj, Town Planning Officer Karuppathal, Assistant Executive Engineers, Assistant Town Planning Officers, Assistant Engineers, All Corporation officials and general public participated in the meeting.
