In front of the Palladam bus stand in Tirupur district, jacto-geo activists staged a human chain protest in front of the Palladam bus stand demanding implementation of the old pension scheme.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin has demanded the scrapping of the CPS scheme and implementation of the old pension scheme as stated in the election manifesto. Demanding the removal of pay anomalies for teachers and immediate release of the arrears of frozen Dearness Allowance, Teachers, noon meal workers, anganwadi workers who are working on pay till the special period, Demanding periodic payment of salaries to revenue and village assistants, Demanding regularisation of the 41-month layoff period of road employees, as the human chain protest is going on for about 20,000 kilometres across Tamil Nadu on Friday.
In front of the Palladam bus stand, more than 500 people belonging to the Jacto Geo activists were seen holding hands and soaking in the rain on the roadside.
