According to the priests, the parivara umbrellas, which were distributed at a cost of Rs 42,000 on behalf of the Pollachi Thirukkovil Deepams Trust, will be used in a mythological manner during the visit of Visalakshi-Jyothilingeswarar Swamigal to tiruveedi ula.

On behalf of Pollachi Thirukkovil Deepangal Trust, a function was held to distribute the umbrellas used during the visit of Visalakshi-Jyothilingeswarar Swamigal during the Thiruveedhi Ula.
In the presence of Anaimalai Arsha Vidyapeetham Yujya Sri Thadevananda Saraswathi Swamigal, temple deepam trust, swami vivekananda kalai charity manram office bearers and a large number of people from the area participated in the function and handed over two parivara umbrellas worth Rs 42,000 to the temple priests.
According to the priests, these retinue umbrellas are used in a mythological way when the Swamiji walks around the tiruveedi in special decorations during pradosham and festival seasons.
