Tippler lifts bike from a Panchyat official near Sulur

The vehicle theft was committed by the youth as the official refused to pay money for drink demanded by the tippler , who arrived at the office in an inebriated condition.


Coimbatore: A CCTV footage in which a tippler is stealing a parked two-wheeler belonging to a Panchayat official near Sulur has gone viral on social media.

The vehicle theft was committed by the youth as the official refused to pay money for drink demanded by the tippler , who arrived at the office in an inebriated condition.

The Panchayat Council office is located near Arasur Mariamman temple near Sulur.

A youth came to the office and demanded the panchayat officer for Rs 50 for a drink.

Meanwhile, the officer refused to give the money to the tippler.

Enraged by this, the tippler went out and took the two-wheeler of the officer which was parked outside the office and fled the scene.

The affected official have lodged a complaint at the Sulur police station. Sulur police have registered a case and are investigating.
