When speaking to the press at the Coimbatore Junction, Minister for the state at the center Pon. Radhakrishnan said “DMK members conducted a fasting protest to hide their mistakes in the assembly. DMK and ADMK parties will not bring any good to the state, people will not believe in DMK in spite of whatever they do. People have decided not to bring these two parties to power. The chief minister should also concentrate on the health and agriculture sectors. Tamilnadu government should get the required fund from the central government. Tamilnadu government has not functioned for many months now. The state government is functioning in way like cheating people.”
“We have to wait and see whether the government led by Palanisamy is functioning. BJP government has not forced the hydrocarbon project upon the people from Pudukottai. This project was brought during the former Congress and DMK combine. The central government will not implement a project without the people consent.” he said.
When asked about the opposition for the prime minister's visit to the Isha yoga center for the inauguration of the Adi Yogi statue Pon. Radhakrishnan said, “A solution should be sought through the court. Raising the problems during the programme is no acceptable.” he said.
