A clos look: District Collector inspects new EVMs in Coimbatore

The South Tahsildar's office security area has been stocked with up to 5,000 brand-new EVMs that have been transported from Bengaluru. When recognised political parties were present, collector Krantikumar Padi personally examined it.


Coimbatore: The District Collector directly examined 5,000 new EVMs delivered to Coimbatore.7,579 EVMs, 4,436 EVMs, and 1,310 EVMs have been stocked for use in the poll in the Coimbatore district.



5,000 new EVMs that were delivered by BHEL, Bangalore for the Coimbatore district are currently being stocked in the security area at the South Tahsildar's office.



Today, authorised representatives from the political parties paid District Collector Krantikumar Padi a call to the voting machines.



Political party representatives and the District Collector's Personal Assistant for Elections, Po. Gunasekaran, were present.
