Police are looking for Head Constable Senthil Kumar of Pollachi East police station after he stabbed Ranganathan, a farmer, with a knife during a land dispute near Udumalpet. Thali police have opened an investigation and registered a case.
Tirupur : Thangavel is a farmer from the Tiruppur district's Valayapalayam in Ravanapuram panchayat near Udumalaipettai.
A few years earlier, he had borrowed cash on interest from a lot of people and never returned it.All of the people who had given him the money then went to court and filed a case. So, 10.5 acres of his farmland were put up for sale in 2008. It was put up for auction by farmer Ranganathan.
Thangavel continued to stir up trouble after that and refused to give him the land. To get the land back, a judicial appeal was submitted.
The land, according to the court, belonged to Ranganathan. It was therefore determined that it should be independently given to Ranganathan.
Following this, the Thali police station was informed that protection would be required when obtaining the land.
