The public presented 44 petitions to Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar at the Public Grievances Day meeting held on Tuesday at the main office of Coimbatore Corporation. After receiving the petitions, the Mayor directed the concerned authorities to take appropriate action.

Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar presided over the Public Grievances Day meeting held at the main office of the Coimbatore Corporation on Tuesday.

Deputy Mayor Vetriselvan and Deputy Commissioner Sivakumar were present at the meeting.

During the meeting, 44 petitions were presented to the Mayor, including various demands on basic amenities including birth and death certificates, road facility, electric lights, drinking water facility, underground sewerage, industrial tax, property tax, vacancy tax, new water connection, name change, medical, health and education.

Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar who received the petitions directed the concerned Zonal Assistant Commissioners, engineers and officials to take immediate appropriate action on the petitions.
