Coimbatore: Coimbatore South MLA Vanathi Srinivasan has said that she is proud to be travelling in a bus with a woman driver.



Sharmila, the first woman bus driver in Coimbatore, has been receiving everyone's wishes. Sharmila, 23, has caught everyone's attention as she runs the passenger bus efficiently.



Bjp national women's wing leader and Coimbatore South MLA Vanathi Srinivasan travelled in the bus driven by Sharmila. 



Vanathi Srinivasan, who was travelling in the bus, congratulated Sharmila and spoke with her for a while.



Speaking to reporters, BJP women's wing president and Coimbatore South MLA Vanathi Srinivasan said, "Ever since the news of Coimbatore's first woman bus driver came, I wanted to meet her in person and congratulate her.

It's been a long time since I travelled by bus and now it's a pleasure to be back on the bus.

At the same time, it is a matter of pride as the leader of the women's wing to travel in the bus where the woman is the bus driver. And her aim is to say that women can achieve in all spheres.



Speaking on the occasion, the bus driver Sharmila said, "It was very surprising that MLA Vanathi Srinivasan had come in the bus.

It was a great pleasure to discuss with her for a while and convey my best wishes to her.
